On the first of January this year (2011) I began this challenge and wrote in the first page(here), this prayer:
“Lord we come humbly to your word each day and we ask for grace as we aim to read through your holy word this year. May we transformed by it and come out rejoicing”.
I am happy that today, the 31st of December 2011, I can say God has indeed answered that prayer. I (and I hope you too!) have come out rejoicing.
It was a great joy to read those final words of Revelation chapter 22 and indeed the last words in the bible “May the grace of the Lord Jesus be with God’s holy people, Amen”. In deed , its God’s grace that had brought me through this year while engaging in this challenge and I thank him for his awesome grace that has brought me through the many times I felt like giving up. In deed he has affirmed his word to me which says I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength. Through the grace of Jesus and the strength He supplies I have been able to do this for his glory and I am really so so pleased and excited.
I look forward to more bible challenges knowing that his word is my daily bread and what a good deal to be fed on it daily.
I hope this resource I have compiled over this year will help many others who want to take the same journey. May you find grace to see you through.
God bless you.
